This keyboard shortcut layout is optimized so I move my left hand as little as possible when I paint. It's especially important to avoid any hand pain caused by spread-out shortcuts.

(Azerty is more optimized, as the 1234... keys can be used for tools changes)

As brushes is the most asked topic, let's start with it. Most of the brushes I found useful come from two main sources :

- Kyle Webster made some amazing brushes for a lot of different styles. Most of them mimick a traditional technique, the Real oil pack being excellent for painting : https://www.kylebrush.com

- Jonas de Ro's brushes are free and polyvalent for digital illustration and concept art :

You may take a look at some tool-based process :

- Daniel Lieske : http://daniellieske.blogspot.fr/2011/03/60-reached-on-kickstarter-new-videos.html

- Noah Bradley : https://gumroad.com/l/brushes

Finally, here are some custom shapes for environnements. Those are all free, mainly from Long Pham, Bennett Durfee and Sparth : you should check their gumroads for more content.
